More info about selective color images:
Arielle Kristina uses creative photo manipulation techniques in order to produce quality images that use color in a creative manner to draw attention or distinguish the photo.
Photos that exhibit selective color usually have a single element or repeating element within the image colored while the rest of the image is desaturated (most frequently B&W or gray scale). Another type of selective color processing focuses on a single color or range of colors within the photo. This produces an image where there is only one color present.
Arielle Kristina also introduces a unique method of selective color that has been dubbed Selective Shadow Desaturation (SSD). This method of selective color focuses on how light colors a photo to produce dynamic results. A tutorial on Selective Shadow Desaturation is available on CD-Rom.
